Bog is the second of three works I created as a resident at Sculpture Space in Utica, NY in 1998. It a simple response to the wonder of exploring a bog; being on a spongy peice of floating land. The center element floats and the murky water evokes the creepy, mysterious quality of the water at the edges of a bog.
